A strategic location

Worldwide connections

Centrally located, Yorkshire Energy Park is close to the city of Hull with great transport links to the rest of the UK and worldwide.

The park is well connected by rail, with daily direct services between London, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Doncaster, with easy access to onward destinations. There are also direct quayside rail connections which link the ports with the national rail network.

Humberside International Airport is a regional KLM hub and provides fast connections to more than 800 destinations worldwide via daily flights to Amsterdam Schipol. The region is also less than a two hour drive from Manchester, East Midlands, Doncaster Sheffield and Leeds Bradford Airports.

  • A gateway into northern Europe, the Humber is strategically located midway between London and Edinburgh, making us a fundamental transport and logistics hub
  • A four hour drive from the Humber gives access to 40m people and 75% of UK manufacturing
  • The port of Immingham sees 25% of all UK rail freight
  • The Humber Bridge, which links the estuary’s north and south banks, handles 10m vehicles a year
